I’m David — a multi-award-winning wedding photographer based in Lancashire, passionate about capturing authentic weddings across the UK and worldwide.
As a husband, father of two, and proud pet parent to a dog and two cats, I bring a personal, grounded approach to my work. I’m also a huge music lover, film buff, and foodie (check out my Dave Shoots Food website for my other creative outlet).
A Third-Generation Photographer with a Unique Storytelling Style
Photography runs in my family — I’m a third-generation photographer and studied the craft at university before becoming a portrait photographer. Since 2010, I’ve specialised in wedding photography, honing my skills in composition, lighting, and storytelling to develop a distinctive documentary and reportage style.
My approach is all about capturing real, honest moments as they unfold — not posed or staged shots. That’s why I’m proud to have won over 150 industry awards, including being named:
